Shreya has an academic background in Environmental Engineering. Implementing ideas that can bring solutions to the plastic waste crisis was her area of interest in academia, and she has worked on other projects related to this topic as well. She believes that improving society’s overall understanding of the implications of plastic pollution will help combat this problem worldwide.
