Morgan is a native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She has always felt the presence of the vast ocean and the beautiful lakes of the province. She grew up learning about the importance of the relationship between nature and its connection to the community. The woods were her backyard playground, the coastal waters her swimming pool. Morgan moved to Montreal to attend university in 2021, where she continued pursuing her interest in taking care of the environment by attaching it to her studies in policy and economics and becoming involved in green initiatives and associations on campus.
Morgan is currently entering her third year studying Political Science at McGill University. Her experience has allowed for a better understanding of global politics, international relations, and the current challenges facing the world today. She has been involved in multiple clubs on campus, including non-profits such as Swab the World, where she developed experience in social media marketing, outreach, fundraising, event planning, and more. Morgan is excited to use her skills to tackle the role of Outreach Coordinator and use her experience to engage people around the country in protecting the environment. She is thrilled to be a member of the Mind Your Plastic team.
