Jemimah Kalemba

Born in the Republic Democratic of Congo, Jemima grew up in Uganda where she enjoyed running in guava plantations and climbing on avocado and mango trees with her friends. She then moved to the province of Quebec, where she took pleasure in taking walks around lakes and parks and go for hiking. She just has a love for nature. 

Jemima believes that nature is a gift that has been given to us to soothes us and give us a pause from all the busyness of life. She has always been curious about the ways we can preserve it and so, joining Mind Your Plastic was a way of being part of a team that is driven towards making changes that allow the care of our earth. 

Jemima speaks 6 languages and loves to discover new places and meet new people. She also likes to craft, read, cook and do multimedia creation.
