Erica Wong

Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Erica was surrounded by nature and feels most at home in the mountains. Learning about the importance of environmental conservation from a young age, Erica is passionate about sustainability and is beyond excited to take on the role of Marketing and Communications Specialist at Mind Your Plastic to join the team on their mission of creating evergreen solutions for reducing plastic pollution in Canada.

 

From coordinating the Green Commuting Challenge to encourage schools and communities in reducing their carbon footprint in the ninth grade to writing a university thesis about Corporate Social Responsibility and Carbon Offsetting, Erica has been a life-long advocate for sustainability; her mission is to educate others on the impact they have on the environment and inspire them to create meaningful change. In her free time, you will find Erica taking care of her plants, baking for family and friends, and crocheting new projects.
